So I must confess I have an obsession. There is something called the Gladney FBI. It is an unofficial list of some of the families (and their blogs) who are adopting from Ethiopia through Gladney.It is broken down into categories of who is working on their paper work, waiting for a referral (that is where we are), who has gotten their referral and finally who has passed court. I admit to checking this website several times a day and reading the many blogs for updates. It is so exciting to see families matched with their child and connecting with others who are going through the process. People have been so encouraging.
So Matt and I are in the waiting category and it tells you when the family was placed on the waitlist and what they are requesting (boy, girl, infant, siblings etc.) It is so exciting to see our name move up closer and closer to the top of the list, even though we have a long way to the top. Recently families have been getting infant referrals at 6-7 months AHHH!! Hopefully they will keep coming that quickly and baby E will be here by summer time!
