I'm an aunt!!

Very early this morning my sister had her baby girl...Emma Kate. She weighed 6 lbs 3.4 ounces and was 20 inches long. We are so excited to have this sweet little one join the family. It's our first time to be an aunt and uncle!!

6 months down...

 

That's right folks we have 6 months down! Time has gone by fast and yet slow if that makes since. We need to get on the ball and finish our training videos and get a crib so we can start working on the nursery. Currently the average wait times still remain at 9 months, but the referrals have been coming really fast and we are quickly moving up the unofficial list. 9 months puts us in July. We are #4 for a girl and #7 for a boy in our age range according to the unofficial list!!

Meeting Ginger...

Tonight I got to meet with a fellow Gladney mom who is ahead of us on the waitlist..and really close to getting her referral. What a blessing it was to talk about everything that we are going through and have already been through. Before I knew it a couple of hours had passed by. Our friends and family have been really supportive throughout this process but it was so nice to talk with someone who really knows what I am going through. Hope our baby E's get here soon!
